Should You Focus on Morals in Your College Essay

Should You Focus on Morals in Your College Essay?Does a college essay need a moral? If you have come across a college essay that is littered with grammatical errors, questionable academic practice, and rampant 'thought,' does it really speak to your depth of thinking? Perhaps these will be the topics we are discussing when we discuss the true meaning of essays.I know that I don't have the right words to describe a fictional character I am writing about. When I think about it, I do not even want to think about it. The results of this feeling has been the confusion of whether I should have put more thought into my academic piece or whether it is really necessary for a college essay to have any sort of focus on morals. But, where do you draw the line between the popularity choice and a focus on morality? Is it ever appropriate to have such a focus in a college essay? To me, it is absolutely imperative. The time to discuss a focus on morals in a college essay is when you know you have don e so effectively and that you are reading an essay that represents you as an individual.Let's look at the consequences of an essay being nothing more than a collection of words and concepts that have no bearing on the issues it addresses. This is usually the case in undergraduate college essays that do not include a focus on a moral. Many students feel that their grade is not important because they 'should' have done better or because their professor might have gotten a better grade from another student. In the case of some, this kind of reasoning leads to the selection of the 'low grade' instead of doing something different and figuring out why they did poorly. What many forget is that the educational process is one of increasing the ability to solve problems by solving them yourself and so it is imperative that you understand what the issue was and why it is relevant. In fact, this is why you should write the essay at all! Think about what you really want to discuss and what you wa nt to accomplish. If you are creating a college essay to present to an employer, your focus on moral awareness can be problematic. Consider the implications of answering the following questions, given that many employers want answers that can't be avoided: Why were you hired? Why did you choose the company? If you are the type of person who truly believes in the importance of a focus on morals in your college essay, then you need to change the way you write. A focus on morals in a college essay means taking the time to talk about what you wanted to say and how you felt about it before you wrote it.But, if you are the kind of person who wants to finish your college essay quickly so you can get a higher grade, then the best approach would be to choose a topic that you know you will address and write about it well, but in the right kind of way. Use the words that really mean something to you and really make a point you feel you need to make. Then when you are finished, take the time to r emember how you felt when you finished and to ponder what you may need to do differently next time.
